New Hope International Fellowship Yokohama is A Protestant church that has been sent off in prayer to Yokohama from New Hope International Fellowship Tokyo on March of 2004, with its Grand Opening as a church on June of the same year. Senior Pastor of New Hope Yokohama, Pastor Toru Majima had studied in New Hope Christian Fellowship Oahu as an intern for 3 years, and came home to Japan to start New Hope Tokyo with Pastor Talo Sataraka. Under Pastor Talos leadership, Pastor Toru helped the church as the Youth Pastor, which soon grew to a church with regular attendance of 300 people in 4 years. With the dream of making a fun and lively church, a church filled with Gods love like New Hope Oahu and Tokyo, Pastor Toru started New Hope Yokohama. Services are bilingual, English and Japanese, and messages from the Bible are easy to relate to. Our creative church services consist of contemporary worship, drama, hula, and more. We believe that all people are valuable to God, and want to be a church where we share Jesus love and forgiveness in Yokohama.

2004年3月にニューホープ東京から祈りを持って送りだされ、同年６月にグランドオープニングを迎えたばかりの プロテスタントの教会です。ニューホープ東京は2000年3月に誕生した教会で、タロシア・サタラカ主任牧師の リーダーシップ のもとに、わずか4年の間に300人もの人々が日曜日の礼拝に出席する教会に成長しました。また、ニューホープ横浜はハワイ・オアフ 島の ホノルルにあるニューホープ・オアフの支部教会でもあります。

ニューホープ横浜の主任牧師である真島亨牧師は、ニューホープ・オアフで3年間インターンとして学んだ後、ニューホープ東京 のユースパスター（若者担当牧師）として主任牧師のタロシア牧師とともに立ち上げました。亨牧師は、横浜にもニューホープオアフや ニューホープ東京の ように明るく楽しい教会、友達や家族を呼びやすい教会、また神様の愛をいつも伝えることができる教会を作りたいという ビジョンを持って横浜にやってきました。私たちニューホープ横浜は、クリスチャンの人もそうではない人も皆同様にひとりひとりが 神様にとって価値のあるものと信じ、イエス・キリストの愛と赦しを伝えることができる教会になりたいと願っています。
