New Hope International Fellowship Yokohama is� A Protestant church that has been sent off in prayer to Yokohama from New Hope International Fellowship Tokyo on March of 2004, with it�s Grand Opening as a church on June of the same year. Senior Pastor of New Hope Yokohama, Pastor Toru Majima had studied in New Hope Christian Fellowship Oahu as an intern for 3 years, and came home to Japan to start New Hope Tokyo with Pastor Talo Sataraka. Under Pastor Talo�s leadership, Pastor Toru helped the church as the Youth Pastor, which soon grew to a church with regular attendance of 300 people in 4 years. With the dream of making a fun and lively church, a church filled with God�s love like New Hope Oahu and Tokyo, Pastor Toru started New Hope Yokohama. Services are bilingual, English and Japanese, and messages from the Bible are easy to relate to. Our creative church services consist of contemporary worship, drama, hula, and more. We believe that all people are valuable to God, and want to be a church where we share Jesus� love and forgiveness in Yokohama.
